THIS MAGAZINE IS PRODUCED BY: PUBLISHER All Smiles Creative / OH! Magazine JOHN COATES EXPLAINS THE POWER OF SPORT If you’ve ever needed a bit of reiteration around the benefits of sport and physical activity, then you’ll be over the moon to read this issue’s featured story, which is based on a recent chat with John Coates, from the International Olympic Committee. The awesome news is, it’s never too late to start getting physical. No matter what your age, your current fitness level or your interests, there are activities that you can enjoy, which will help boost your health, fitness and wellbeing. The key is to just get started. Begin small, and progress at your own pace. Remember to surround yourself with supportive, encouraging and positive people, and before you know it you’ll be feeling the benefits, both physically and emotionally. Of course, if you’re already into the swing of regular exercise, then well done! The key for you is to seek out variety in what you’re doing. Try that class you’ve always been curious about. Have a go at that activity that you just haven’t gotten around to trying yet. By injecting some variety into your activity schedule, you’ll avoid boredom and keep the results coming as your body is forced to adapt to its new challenges. Be brave, be bold, have a go, and let us know what happens!
