H often we get so comfy with the
familiar that it leads us to become creatures of habit .
Of course , routine can be a good thing , for example if your routine involves exercising every day . However , sometimes routine can become boring or uninspiring . A great example of this are the meals we prepare for ourselves , our friends , and our family . I often hear people say things like ‘ Wednesday is spaghetti night , and Thursday is quiche night ’, which leads me to believe we probably aren ’ t challenging our taste buds often enough .
So this month I want you to try a culinary challenge . I want you to commit to trying at least two new recipes every week , for the entire month . The key is not to be scared and to avoid staying in your comfort zone .
There are many amazing ingredients which are now quite easy to source , such as teff , millet , and different colours of quinoa . To inspire you , I ’ ve included a few recipe images that may interest you and which are popular in our house .
