Getting there: Qantas has regular direct
flights to Alice Springs from most major
cities. Sydney to Alice Springs is a three-
hour flight, and it’s around two-and-a-half
hours from Melbourne.
When to go: The best time to hike Larapinta
is during the winter months. World
