STRESS-FREE CHILD AND PET MINDING
www.littlesits.com is for all parents and is designed to give them
access to free babysitters, from within groups of friends they
establish themselves. Using only the people they know best and
trust most, Little Sits enables parents to create time out for
themselves without the inhibitive cost of paying for babysitters.
Using a points-based system, parents can pursue the activities
that help make them feel whole, and start to enjoy the things
they loved doing most – pre-kids; things like getting back to the
gym, for example! At some point in time, every parent needs a
break – and now they can get as many as they want!

WHY MUSHROOMS ARE THIS WINTER’S SUPERFOOD
Six in ten women and four in ten men are likely to be vitamin D
deficient over winter. And, by the end of this month, more than
half of the Australian population will be deficient of this
nutrient! Many Australians are in the dark about vitamin D with
more than four in five (84 per cent) Australians unaware they
can achieve vitamin D through food they eat, or of the health
risks associated with low vitamin D levels. For this reason, the
mighty mushroom is this winter’s superfood, with new figures
from the National Measurement Institute showing that just one
serve of store-bought mushrooms can provide 20 per cent of an
adult’s daily vitamin D needs, which is an essential nutrient for
protecting against health risks such as heart disease, type 2
diabetes and osteoporosis. Earlier studies found that one serve
of mushrooms left in the sun for an hour, as well as ‘vitamin D’
labelled mushrooms, will provide 100 per cent of your daily
vitamin D needs.
