In winter, Fernie Alpine Resort is one of North America’ s top ski and snowboard destinations. Summer months transform the resort into an outdoor playground for mountain bikers, hikers and families. Summer season at Fernie Alpine Resort typically goes from June to early September.
Things To Do:
• Downhill Biking: Ride over 30km of lift-accessed trails, ranging from flowy greens to expert-level technical descents. The resort’ s bike park is a must for downhill riders.
• Hiking and Scenic Chairlift Rides: Take the Scenic Chairlift Ride up to incredible viewpoints, then explore alpine hiking trails. Let the kids play at the Elk Grove Forest Playground located at the top of Elk Chair.
• Dining with a View: Enjoy a meal or après drink at Legends Restaurant in the resort plaza, or dinner and cocktails at Cirque Restaurant, with scenic mountain views to enjoy.
