Spring kicks off with several fishing
tournaments , and Silver Dollar City opens in March with their continually changing festivals . Moving into summer from Memorial to Labor Day you ’ ll find family focused events and several options to enjoy fireworks over the water . Fall is filled with festivals all around the area with everything from car shows to pumpkins .
The Christmas season kicks off in early November with over 6.5 million lights at Silver Dollar City alone , not to mention live stage shows and holiday light drivethroughs that create a festive atmosphere .
