The east end of Table Rock Lake is from the Branson area to Big Cedar , Cricket Creek and beyond into Arkansas . Around the Branson area you will find the widest and deepest parts of the lake ; however , as you wind past Ridgedale , around to Cricket Creek and into Arkansas , Table Rock Lake looks much more like a river than a lake . The Branson area is where you ’ ll find Table Rock Dam , which is how the lake was created from the White River over 60 years ago . This area is also home to Moonshine Beach , the lake ’ s only public beach , and State Park Marina , as well as several large popular coves . As you travel further south and into Arkansas , you ’ ll see Long Creek and Cricket Creek Marinas .
If you ’ re considering splitting your vacation between lake activities and Branson attractions , the east area of the lake is a great spot to choose . This area of Table Rock Lake has lodging options from small to large resorts , luxury hotels and nightly vacation rentals .
