THE VR46 RIDERS ACADEMY IN MOTOGP™
I was a bit scared , honestly , in the beginning , arriving in MotoGP™ and to be a rival with Pecco [ Bagnaia ], Franky [ Morbidelli ] and Luca [ Marini ]. I have a good friendship with them , and I didn ' t want to put everything in the rubbish . Of course , me and Pecco [ Bagnaia ], well , we have a close friendship . We try to motivate each other during every training session . We are still able to do everything we have done until now and I hope it will stay like this until the end of our career . The friendship that we have is really , really good . So , it would be bad if it ends because of the races , but it is like this . First of all , it was like a dream for Valentino [ Rossi ] to see the four riders from the VR46 Riders Academy in MotoGP™ , so he was already very happy . He ’ s tried to give us some advice but also leave us to our experience . If we see that the situation may be getting worse , for sure he will say something to us , but for the moment he stays on the side , and just says nothing . In the Academy , last year and this year , there were some changes inside too to manage better these kinds of situations , so I think the Academy made a big , big step for this . They helped us a lot before , but now we have a lot more support and they take care of us for everything we need .
