The explosive Spaniard has long been a qualifying specialist , racking up 30 poles in his short career ( 9 in MotoGP™ , 1 in Moto2™ , 20 in Moto3™ ). But racing has been slightly more complicated . After a breakout rookie MotoGP™ season in 2021 , which resulted in one win , the 2018 Moto3™ World Champion had a troubled 2022 with injury and inconsistency resulting in underwhelming results . The fact he was passed over for Ducati ’ s factory team this year didn ’ t help . Now he ' ll give his best in his third year at Prima Pramac Ducati .
