It ’ s tempting to wonder where Alex Rins would have finished 2022 had Suzuki not decided to quit MotoGP™ at the end of the year . Before the announcement , the Spaniard was firmly in title contention . But after he faded away with crashes in France and Italy . A broken wrist , courtesy of a collision in Barcelona , compounded a poor run . But Rins ’ late season form ( two wins from the final three races ) showed the 27-year old to be riding at the top of his game . A huge challenge awaits the former Moto3™ and Moto2™ championship runner up in 2023 , as he joins LCR Honda .

Cosa avrebbe combinato Rins nel 2022 se la Suzuki non avesse deciso di lasciare la MotoGP™ alla fine dell ' anno ? Una domanda lecita : prima dell ' annuncio lo spagnolo era saldamente in lizza per il titolo . Poi le cadute in Francia e in Italia , peggiorate da una frattura rimediata in un incidente nel quale non aveva responsabilità , a Barcellona . Un tunnel dal quale Rins è uscito con un finale di stagione strepitoso , nel quale ha conquistato due delle ultime tre gare . Il 27enne , insomma , stava guidando al massimo delle sue capacità . In passato vice iridato in Moto3™ e Moto2™ , Rins nel 2023 è passato alla Honda con il team LCR : una grande sfida lo attende .
