If ever there was a rider seeking a fresh start , it ' s Alex Marquez . After a sudden graduation to the MotoGP™ class in 2020 , and some promising rides , Alex struggled for form when moved to LCR Honda for 2021 and 2022 . During those years , there were few signs of the rider who won the 2014 Moto3™ and 2019 Moto2™ World Championships so convincingly , the only rider to have triumphed in both classes . A change to Ducati machinery with the well drilled Gresini team will show whether he has what it takes to run at the front of MotoGP™ .
