Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup

The Idemitsu Asia Cup , launched in 2014 , is a prominent pathway to MotoGP™ , capturing the aspirations of riders aged 14 to 21 . Across five rounds held with the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship and one alongside the Malaysian Superbike event , competitors engage in thrilling races .

Each ATC round features two races , utilising a points system akin to MotoGP™ . Riders battle on identical Honda NSF250R Moto3™ machines with distinctive ATC livery . Beyond the races , the ATC paves the way to higher echelons of motorcycle racing . Graduates often progress to the prestigious Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship and the renowned Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup . In 2023 , promising riders followed the footsteps of ATC champions like Kaito Toba , Ayumu Sasaki , Deniz Öncü , Somkiat Chantra , and Ai Ogura , becoming Grand Prix winners or frequent podium finishers in Moto3™ and Moto2™ . The Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup beckons the brightest young talents from Asia and Oceania , offering them a platform on the Road to MotoGP™ . It provides comprehensive support , including insurance , travel arrangements , and logistics management for each round .
