No one in Grand Prix racing has suffered like the eight-time World Champion over the past three years . Prior to 2020 , Marquez had won everything , claiming the 125cc title in 2010 , the Moto2™ title in 2012 and the MotoGP™ crown at his first attempt in 2013 . He went on to dominate the sport in subsequent years , racking up five further MotoGP™ titles . But a crash at the first race of 2020 broke an arm and set off a chain of events that have prevented him from operating at his best ever since . An uncompetitive Honda means this has been another trying campaign for the serial champ .
