MOVING TO DUCATI
I wasn ' t expecting that because , from the first run , I was quite fast and confident with the bike . With the Gresini team , I felt really good from the first day , and that ' s the most important thing – adapting to a Ducati factory and understanding how they work during the weekend . We have constant communication with Gigi [ Dall ' Igna ] and his team because they always visit each box after practices to listen to the riders , identify problems , and gather data . This data helps us to compare between riders , see who ' s struggling at certain points , and analyze our performance .
FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON
I am quite happy , especially with our speed , which exceeded my expectations . However , I ' m not satisfied with my championship position as we are quite far back , and unfortunately , some bad luck affected us . Crashing due to your own fault is one thing , but dealing with issues like we had in Austin , Le Mans , and the Mugello Sprint is beyond our control . It can be frustrating , but it also makes us mentally stronger .
MAIN TARGET
The initial objective was to achieve some podiums and poles , and we ' ve already accomplished that . Now , we must set new objectives during the season . Our main focus is to establish a solid base with Gresini , achieve more podiums , maintain consistency , and improve our speed . If we do all this effectively , we ' ll create opportunities to compete for my first MotoGP race win , and I ' ll definitely go for it . I ' m really happy with where I am now . I want to continue with this team and Ducati next year , without a doubt . But it ' s essential to live in the present because thinking too much about the future can be distracting . I ' ll keep my feet on the ground and look forward to staying here for many more years .
