Back in 1993 , the Porsche Supercup debuted and soon became the world ’ s premier one-make series , and it has long been a staple on the FIA Formula One World Championship™ support-race calendar . This season the series consists of 8 races across Europe with a field of up to 30 starters .
As with all one-make series , Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup success is not down to a racing team ’ s budget , but the skill of the drivers and the expertise of the teams .
The grid features a mix of established racers and upand-coming youngsters all vying for success , in this series organised by Porsche AG themselves . And of course that company keeps a close eye on the series . Supercup stars who have graduated to works Porsche drivers include Sven Müller , Dirk Werner and 2024 Le Mans pole taker Kévin Estre , while New Zealander Earl Bamber won the Supercup in 2014 , qualified for the LMP programme in the Porsche 919 Hybrid and won Le Mans for the company in 2015 …

The raw fuel comes from the Haru Oni pilot plant in Patagonia and is produced ready-for-racing through a blending process make up the field to compete potentially almost CO2- neutral race cars .
