Old City Hall

Built in 1888, the
Old City Hall has
served as the Delano
City Government
building, Fire Sta-
tion, Police Station
with a jail and the
public library. Over
the years many gath-
erings and special
events have been
hosted in the second
floor Hall.
Brick Block on Bridge | 127 Bridge Ave
A handsome brick block was erected in 1905 on Bridge Street
by John L. Stein, Olof Peterson and Louis and Henry Bock,
finished in only 8 months. Now newly renovated, named
The Jerome Event Center.

Eppel Building | 100 Bridge Ave E
Location of
the old roller

Charles Eppel moved the building in 1871
to its present location.The Eppel building has
been a clothing store, saloon, mercantile, dry
goods store, office space, and ice cream shop.
It is currently Bridge House Coffee & Cafe and
retail space.
115 Bridge Ave E
Built in 1908 by the State Bank
of Delano with white enamel
brick front. The main bank-
ing room had a tile floor, an
Italian marble wainscoting, with
verde-antique base and rail. The
fixtures were the best quarter
sawed oak, with oxidized copper
grillwork and every convenience
for the conduct of business.

Opposite the Eppel
Building, on the southeast
corner of River Street
and Bridge Avenue, is the
building that has been
home to Jack Sprat’s Food
Store in the 1920’s, the
Main Bar in the 1940’s and
the Delano Municipal On
& Off Sale.
