E. Judge Evaluation
1. AMHA Judge Evaluation Reports are voluntary and
shall be made available by show management to each
exhibitor at every AMHA-sanctioned show. Only one
Judge Evaluation Report per judge is to be completed
and turned in per farm or stable. Any misuse of the Judge
Evaluation Reports by exhibitors may be considered as
unsportsmanlike conduct and reviewed under Rule GR045-G. Each farm or stable may complete one report per
judge per show. If owners of a horse that is being shown
by a professional handler are in attendance at a show,
they may request a Judge Evaluation Report.

Judge Evaluation Reports, and instructions for their
use, shall be issued to each Show Manager or Show
Chairman by the AMHA office. Show Management shall
be responsible for making them available to exhibitors.

Show Management shall forward all complete Judge
Evaluation Reports and a Show Manager’s evaluation of
the judge to the AMHA office as part of the show results.

GR-035 RIBBONS AND AWARDS
A. All prizes must be awarded with first place through all
eligible entries. In all cases first place must be awarded
when eligible. The sequence of announcing awards is at the
discretion of the Show Manager.
B. Ribbons and placement to sixth are required. If trophies are
given, it is suggested they be awarded for first place in each
class, and the Grand and Reserve Champions of each sex and
height division, as well as the Supreme Halter Champion(s).
GR-040 DRUGS AND ARTIFICIAL APPLIANCES, IRRITANTS AND
INHUMANE TREATMENT
A. The use of stimulants or depressants or any drug affecting
the showing of a horse in halter or performance is strictly
forbidden. EXCEPTION: The prescribed dose of therapeutic
medication necessary for treatment of an illness or injury
per a written declaration of a currently licensed veterinarian.
This declaration must be presented to the Show Management
prior to the exhibition of that horse. When a positive drug
test is received by the AMHA officials, the hearing procedure

2. 1st-Blue, 2nd-Red, 3rd-Yellow, 4th-White, 5th-Pink, 6thGreen OR in Canada only 1st-Red, 2nd-Blue, 3rd-White,
4th-Yellow, 5th-Green, 6th-Pink.
3. Grand Champion - Blue, Red and Yellow or White
combination or Purple.
4. Reserve Champion - Red, Yellow and White or Pink
combination or Purple and White combination.
