SHOW RULES 4. Th  e last date entries will be accepted without penalty and the last date late entries will be accepted. 5. The premiums and awards to be given. 6. The complete AMHA approved class schedule with all the correct class descriptions and restrictions. (This would be the list sent with your approval form and approved by AMHA’s office) Make sure your entry lists any problems existing at your show, such as limited stalls, remote parking lots, no trailer parking, no driving facilities, barns distant from show facility or other exhibits which might make showing difficult, such as carnivals, or shared ring with pigs, cows, etc. Also, a description of the arena and stall construction is helpful. GR-030 OFFICIALS A. Show Managers (Chairpersons). 1. Any reputable person may act in the capacity of the show manager or chairperson. 2. The show manager shall have the authority to enforce all rules referring to the show. 3. The AMHA Show Office will only receive information or changes from the documented Show Manager/ Chairpersons on file regarding any show approval and all communication with the AMHA Show Office must be conducted by the documented Show Manager/ Chairperson on file for that show. (Amended 07-13-02, effective 01-03) 4.  The show manager shall have the jurisdiction over preparing and mailing all entry forms, premium lists, and catalogs. 5. The show manager shall not accept additional entries in a class once competition or judging for that class has begun. 6. The show manager shall at all times extend every effort to satisfy the comfort of the horses, the exhibitors, the spectators, and the officials. 7. The show manager shall see that the judge(s) hired for the show receives a schedule of classes, sent at least two (2) weeks prior to the show date. (Amended 11-10-00, effective 01-02) 8. The show manager shall retain original signed judges placing cards, copy of the show results, receipts for mailing required material to judges, and all entry forms for at least one year so that they may be made available on request by the AMHA office. B. Ring Stewards 1. Show management must provide an adequate number of competent ring stewards to manage the arena and assist the judges. Any reputable person may act in the capacity of ring steward. The ring stewards must help the judge, not advise him. He/she shall carefully refrain from discussing, or seeming to discuss, the horses or exhibitors with the judge. 90
