charges.) (Amended 08-10, effective 02-11) I. No exhibitor may be required to be a member of any other organization in order to be eligible to show in approved AMHA classes. J. An exhibitor cannot be required to pay an entry fee in a halter class to be eligible to show in a performance class and vice-versa. K. A show having been approved and held the previous year is considered an established show and has priority to reserve identical dates per calendar year until terminated. The AMHA office must be notified by October 1st of the preceding year. L. No show will be approved, exclud ing state and county fairs, within a 250-mile radius of each other on the same show date. M. Local Shows would be allowed to hire only one (1) World Show Judge per show. “Show” is defined as a show having the same name, being held in the same location and on the same weekend. (Amended 02-06, effective 01-07) N. No AMHA event will be approved with more than four (4) judges in the ring at one time. SHOW RULES O. If the application is satisfactory, the office will issue a statement of official approval within fifteen (15) days. If unsatisfactory, the organization will be notified within fifteen (15) days, giving the reason, with the option to correct the application and resubmit it to the office. P. Following the show, the results must be entirely complete and returned to the AMHA office within 15 days from the date of the show along with the appropriate AMHA show surcharge per horse per judge (see Fee Schedule). Also a complete list of the registered name, numbers and heights of all horses entered in the show, and all drug testing results done at the show must accompany the show results. The required forms will be supplied by the AMHA office. The AMHA office may accept results on other forms or in different formats if approved in writing by the office in advance. Show Managers will be assessed a $50.00 fine if prior approval is not received. Failure to pay the fine within 30 days of notification will result in forfeiture of rights to hold future shows. Any shows held within 30 days of the cutoff day for World Championship Show qualifications must submit the results, fees, lists and be received in the AMHA office within five (5) days from the last day of the show.
