unless the relationship is terminated at least 90 days prior to the show. I. Judge’s family members are ineligible to show under that judge. See YD-010 C for definition of family. J. No horse may be shown before a judge that has been trained by the Judge within the period of 90 days prior to the show. This rule excludes clinics and/or seminars K. No one may show before a judge who has remunerated the exhibitor for the board or training, excluding clinics and seminars, of any horse for horse show purposes within a period of 90 days prior to the competition. Stud fees and broodmare fees are excluded. L. No one may show before a judge from whom he has leased a horse unless the lease is terminated 90 days prior to the competition. M. No one shall approach a judge during the show in any fashion (e-mail, text, phone, etc.) with regard to a decision unless he/she first obtains permission from the show official, who shall arrange an appointment with the judge at a proper time and place. If a horse is presented to a judge by a person the judge knows is ineligible to compete under these rules, the judge must advise the show manager that he/she believes the entry to be ineligible and request that the entry be excused. In any class if a horse or exhibitor is ineligible to show under one judge, then that exhibitor or horse is ineligible to show under each and every judge in that class. O. Any violation of rules pertaining to GR-010 will go to the Executive Committee. B. Horse’s height must be verified on a hard, level surface, preferably concrete or paved, in a public place, by a show official and witnessed by a recording official of the show. No person with horses being shown competing in the show may be a measuring official at the show. A standard measurement stick is a straight, stiff, unbendable stick (metal) that is 81 SHOW RULES GR-020 HEIGHT VERIFICATION A. No Miniature Horse shall exceed 34 inches in height. Weanlings must not exceed 30 inches. Yearlings must not exceed 32 inches. Two-year-olds must not exceed 33 inches. The show age of the horse is determined from January 1 preceding its birthday.
