be mailed to the LOC Committee at the AMHA office, and all checks must be payable to AMHA. B.  The Licensed Officials Committee will send out questionnaires concerning the applicant to such persons listed as references by the applicant and to such judges, AMHA members, and others as it may elect. No member of the Committee may serve as a reference for an applicant for a judge’s card. All questionnaires must be returned to the LOC Committee or approved designee. C. In the case of those applicants whose applications are not reviewed by the LOC Committee because of an insufficient number of returned questionnaires, the LOC Committee will so advise the applicants, and will hold those applications in a pending file for one more meeting of the LOC Committee. LO-035 JUDGE REMUNERATION A recommended minimum fee of $300.00 per day plus expenses to compensate AMHA carded judges for AMHA approved shows with the exception of youth, amateur and hardship approved shows. (Amended 06-06, effective 01-07) LOC LO-039 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUDGES To be eligible to judge an AMHA World Championship Show, you must: A. Beginning in 2009, an AMHA approved judge must have completed the required six (6) year review by the Licensed Official Committee while in attendance of an AMHA Approved Seminar. Be an AMHA Senior or Approved Judge who has judged a minimum of four (4) AMHA approved shows. (Amended 12-6-03, effective 01-04) (Amended 11-6-04, effective 01-05) B. Not have judged the World Championship Show in the preceding three (3) years. (Amended 02-01, effective 01-02) (Amended 02-07, effective 01-08) (Amended 12-09, effective 01-10) C. No more than two (2) judges from one state or province shall be selected to judge the World Championship Show. LO-040 JUDGES CLINICS A. The Licensed Officials Committee will coordinate judge clinics at various locations each year. It is the responsibility of each judge and judge candidate to arrange and attend those clinics that are necessary to maintain his/her status. B. All classifications of judges must successfully complete an AMHA judge’s clinic at least once every three (3) calendar years. New applications and applications for renewal will not be consider ed until the applicant has completed this requirement. 74
