LOC b. Approved Judges may apply for Senior Classification after they have adjudicated at four (4) or more AMHA sanctioned shows in which 75 or more horses were exhibited at each show. These shows must have been adjudicated during the previous three (3) years or approved Judges may apply for Senior Classification after they have adjudicated at a minimum of fifteen (15) shows during the previous six (6) years. (Amended 02-07, effective 01-08) (Amended 06-13, effective 01-14) c.  Six (6) letters of favorable recommendation are required. Judges are responsible for providing AMHA with six (6) or more addresses for letters of recommendation. These letters must be sent to the AMHA and must contain a full name, address, valid phone number and email address of reference. At least four (4) of these letters must be from judges who have seen you judge, the remaining two (2) may be from show managers who have seen you judge or knowledgeable Miniature Horse owners. Members of the Licensed Official Committee may not be used as references. (Amended 02-08, effective 01-09) d. Must have attended the required six (6) year review and participated in the Judging Program associated with an approved AMHA Seminar. (Amended 0606, effective 01-07) 3. Beginning January 1, 1995, Senior Judge cards shall be valid for one year unless revoked by the committee, and may be renewed annually provided that the Senior Judge applies for renewal and is a current Regular or Associate AMHA member and passes a rule book test and meets all other qualifications in force at that time. (Amended 12-6-03, effective 01-04) D. Apprentice Judge 1. I ndividuals 19 years of age or older who do not otherwise qualify for approval as an AMHA judge, may apply for registration as an Apprentice Judge. 2. A n Apprentice Judge is an individual previously registered as such, to whom the Licensed Officials Committee may grant permission, upon the request and approval of the Chairman or Manager of an AMHAsanctioned show and for that show only, to accompany a Senior or Approved Judge into the ring. No person may apprentice under a family member. Permission will NOT be granted for more than one Apprentice Judge to be in the ring at any one time. The application must be made on the official form provided for that purpose and must be accompanied by the required fee, at least 30 days prior to the show date. 72
