before the foaling date of a resulting foal or blood-typing/ DNA-testing for parent qualification of the foal will be required for the foal to be considered for registration. (Amended 12-6-03, effective 01-04) RULES & REGULATIONS When a stallion owner signs and presents a mare owner with a breeders certificate, but fails to submit a stallion breeding report or include that mare on his annual Stallion Breeding Report, then the stallion owner will be billed the late fee amount(s) and have all future transactions put on a hold status until those fees are paid and a late or amended stallions breeding report is submitted. The mare owner, upon presenting the registry with a signed breeders certificate will be given papers on the foal in question, providing that all other matters are in order (mare and stallion have valid certificates, etc.) (Amended 2-21-04, effective 01-05) If not submitted and foal is born a report must be filed, a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) late filing fee plus ten dollars ($10.00) per mare paid and the foal parent qualified by blood-typing/DNA testing the foal, sire and dam. A corrected late Stallion Breeding Report is not required if the owner of both stallion and mare at the time of breeding was also the owner of the foal at the time of parent qualification. (Amended 2-21-03, effective 01-04) If a breeding stallion dies during any current breeding year, his Stallion Report is due within thirty (30) days following his death. Stallion Breeding Reports for the Southern Hemisphere shall be submitted to the Association office by August 1 with no grace period. If stallion owner does not pay the required fees, and foals are born, the owner of the n ew foal applying for registration may pay the late stallion fee (to be paid only once) and the late mare fee only on the mare or mares involved. The registration process may then proceed after DNA with parent qualifying. (Amended 2-21-03, effective 01-04) 180D Corrections/Additions to Stallion Reports Stallion Breeding Reports which require a correction or an addition will result in a twenty-five dollars ($25.00) fee per horse for each mare omitted or twenty-five dollars ($25.00) correction fee for incorrect number or name on report. Correction/additions must be submitted and PAID before foaling date of resulting foal or parentage qualification will be required to verify the correction/addition in order to register the foal. In addition, the registered owner (or authorized agent) will be required to submit the necessary blood work and/or DNA Testing, at said owner’s or agent’s expense, to verify the 50
