BYLAWS Horse. Only those horses born in North America or proven to be out of AMHA registered sire and dam or horses hardshipped in North America and meeting all AMHA registration criteria shall be granted a registration certificate. The American Miniature Horse shall not exceed thirty-four (34) inches in height when measured according to Article XI, Sec. 4 of these Bylaws. The registration of any horse exceeding thirty-four (34) inches shall be void and such horse shall not be considered or designated as an American Miniature Horse. All new certificates issued by The American Miniature Horse Association, Inc. shall bear a prominent legend reflecting the content of this Bylaw. Foundation stock registered pur suant to General Rule 184I shall be exempt from this Bylaw. (Amended 02-08, effective 01-09) (Amended 02-09, effective 0110) ARTICLE XII - OFFICIAL PUBLICATION Section 1, Name The name of the official publication of The American Miniature Horse Association, Inc., shall be the “Miniature Horse World.” Section 2, Policies The editorial policies and the policies of the “Miniature Horse World” shall be set by the Board of Directors. (Amended 02-07, effective 01-08) Section 3, Rates Subscription and advertising rates shall be recommended by the Treasurer and the Executive Director, and shall be approved by the Board of Directors. No AMHA logo may be used or reproduced in any way for any reason without the express permission of the AMHA National Office. (Amended 0211, effective 01-12) ARTICLE XIII - OFFICIAL RULE BOOK There shall be published a rule book, which shall be entitled the “Official Rule Book of The American Miniature Horse Association, Inc.,” and shall be made available to every member free of charge and shall be printed in the following order: a Foreword, a Table of Contents, the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, General Rules and Regulations, Registration Rules and Regulations, Show Rules, complete list of fees, and any other rules, regulations, or information of the Association. 30
