Driver may be accompanied by an adult or senior youth (13-18). (Amended 02-06, effective 01-07) WS-000 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AND CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWS Entry Procedures: The AMHA Regional and World Championship Shows are open to all AMHA registered horses ahd owners who are in good standing with the AMHA, (GR025-G), who have met all of the requirements set forth in in GR010 of the current year Show Rules, and who have earnedthe necesssary qualifying points (WS-030-A), during the point accumulation period under (WS-030-B), and has met all other requirements for qualification to include but not limited to an Open, Amateur or Youth card. WS-005 GUIDELINES Championship shows are to use the same guidelines as the World Championship Show with the exception of points. WS-010 LOCATION AND DATE A. The World Championship Show will be held annually. WS-012 NOTIFICATION The AMHA office will provide exhibitors with verification of receipt of entries in World Championship Show as well as eligibility within 15 days prior to the World Championship Show. 165 SHOW RULES B. The World Championship Show shall be held in the Central (Regions 6, 7, 12, 13) section of North America. The World Championship Show site shall be selected based upon criteria including but not limited to enclosed and covered areas; enclosed stalls sufficient in number to meet the current needs of the Association; close proximity of hotels, restaurants, availability, cost, quality, features, etc. C. Effective 1997, there will be three (3) Championship Shows held annually. They are to be divided as listed below: Western (Regions 8,9.10), Central (Regions 6,7,12,13) and Eastern (Regions 1,2,3,4,5,11) with the exception of Missouri and Louisiana which will be in the Central Region. All residents of foreign countries must declare the Championship show in which they desire their horses to be shown by the June 1 deadline. A horse must exhibit in at least one class at a local show to qualify for a Championship Show. (Amended 0214, effective 01-15)
