SHOW RULES winners in its sex division. The second place winner from the class providing the Grand Champion and the other first place horses will then be eligible for Reserve Champion. See GR-045 I. All amateur horses must be exhibited by the same amateur owner in the Amateur Grand Championship Class as in the class in which it qualified. If an amateur has more than one horse in the Amateur Grand Championship class, the additional horse(s) must be exhibited by another amateur handler or be withdrawn with the permission of the judge(s) or show management. (Amended 11-10-00, effective 01-02) PA-025 TITLES AND AWARDS A. Honor Roll The AMHA will make annual awards based on the number of points earned by an individual horse during that show year (from January 1 to December 31) in competition in each of the events in which points are awarded at AMHA approved shows. The horse who earns more points during a show year than any other horse has earned in that event will be the year’s High Point earner for that event and an appropriate trophy or plaque will be awarded to the horse’s owner (example: 1996 Honor Roll Jumping or 1996 Honor Roll Open Roadster Driving). 2. In halter, the horse who earns the most points during a year in each age and height classification in each sex division will receive an appropriate trophy or plaque (Example: 1996 Honor Roll Weanling Stallion or 1996 Honor Roll Senior Mare 28” and under or 1996 Honor Roll Two-Year-Old Gelding). If a horse shows in more than one height class, the points from both height classes will be combined and awarded to the higher height class. (Amended 11-10-00, effective 01-02) 3. Each of the top ten (10) point earners for that year in each event will be so designated and an appropriate certificate shall be prepared and mailed to the owners of said horses. 4.  To qualify for any Honor Roll titles, trophies, or certificates listed above, the horse must have earned at least ten (10) points in the event during the year, except in Adult Special Needs classes where a minimum of six (6) points must be earned. AMHA Champions This title may be awarded to any individual stallion, mare, or gelding registered with the Association after it has won a total of fifty (50) or more points in competition in official AMHA shows provided: 1.
