J Off course is defined as: 1. Taking an obstacle in the wrong direction 2. Negotiating an obstacle from the wrong side 3. Skipping an obstacle unless directed by judge 4. Negotiating obstacles in the wrong sequence 5. Side pass the wrong end of horse in the obstacle 6. Off pattern Off course will result in elimination. (No points, ribbons, or awards will be presented). (Amended 02-07, effective 01-08) K. Obstacle horses shall be shown in a suitable two-wheeled or four-wheeled pleasure cart with basket or safe suitable floor. Multi-hitch allowed to perform after all single entries to allow parallel rails to be adjusted for multiple hitch (see diagram). Use of mechanical brakes will result in disqualification.
