b. Perform a serpentine at the direction of the judge with a salute at the beginning and end of the pattern. The finish of the pattern will be a halt facing the call judge with the wheel hub in line with the cone. Example below. SHOW RULES 2. Drivers are asked to perform reinsmanship skills on the rail as a group. They will be asked, in addition to working both ways of the arena at a walk, collected trot, and working trot, to perform according to the judge’s calls. Judge may select one, several or all of the following maneuvers and may repeat the same maneuver as many times as desired to determine driver’s reinsmanship skills: a. Stop on the rail, pause and stand quietly until judge calls to move forward at a walk or collected trot. b. Stop on the rail, back 2 or 3 steps, stand quietly, then proceed in the direction of go when judge calls to move forward at a walk or collected trot. c. Reverse on the rail at a walk or collected trot. d. Stop on the rail, do a 90 degree pivot turning inward and pause, standing quietly. Upon judge’s call, return with a 90 degree pivot back to the rail in the original direction of go. Move forward at a walk or collected trot per judge’s call. e. Stop on rail, do a 90 degree pivot turning inward and pause, standing quietly. Upon judge’s call, continue to turn with a 90 degree pivot to end up on the rail in the reverse of the original direction of go. Move forward at a walk or collected trot per judge’s call. 118
