intimidating conduct, physical, verbal or written, toward any individual or show official. Any person(s) guilty of such conduct should be reported immediately to management by the judge, steward, or show committee member. The show management must suspend the offender for the duration of that show. Any person accused of such unseemly behavior may appeal his/her case to the Board of Directors, which shall render a decision. If found guilty, such a person may be barred from future participation in AMHA show activity. The Board’s decision will be published in the official AMHA publication. H. Exhibitors and/or owners may not protest to the judge directly or by inference, the placing of any horse. Any person(s) found guilty by show management of such conduct will be excused from the show and forfeit any awards received at that show, and the right to show in any additional classes at the show. No entry fees will be returned. (Amended 11-00, effective 01-02) (Amended 12-09, effective 01-10) I.  Halter horses eligible to show in their respective championship classes must show unless excused by the show manager or judge. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of points won in respective qualifying class. The second place horse would then move to the first position in the championship class. Violation of this rule shall be referred to the Executive Committee. (Amended 11-10-00, effective 01-02) J. No class will be allowed to enter the ring after midnight or before 8:00 a.m. at all AMHA-approved shows including the AMHA Championships and World Championship Show without approval of the AMHA Executive Director, or designee. (Amended 12-6-03, effective 01-04) K. Classes may not enter the ring in any division until all awards from the previous class have been presented. 97 SHOW RULES GR-050 PROTESTS A. All protests shall be handled according to the following: 1. Any protest (excluding height protest) must be made in writing to the show manager or the ring steward not later than one hour after the completion of the last class of the show. The protest shall be accompanied by a $100.00 deposit, which shall be returned to the protestor in the event the protest is sustained. If a protest is not sustained the $100.00 protest fee shall go to the profits of the show. (Amended 11-10-00, effective 01-02) 2. Protests shall be adjudicated by a protest committee of three (3) show officials not involved in the dispute. 3.  The Protest Committee shall promptly meet and adjudicate the issue, make effective its decision upon the parties in interest and report its determination to all parties.
