Restoring Australia team
Our Purpose; Excellence; PDP -
Responsible Sourcing & Environment;
Winning the Leadership Award for
Restoring Australia is the culmination
of two and a half years work and
planning by the Sustainability team
with input from Finance, Marketing
and overwhelming support from
the OLT.
What has been most rewarding
about the initiative is the feedback
from the whole Officeworks team
who have got behind Restoring
Australia. While the award
recognises the team that have
developed and implemented the
initiative, all of the Officeworks team
should be hugely proud of the
commitment Officeworks has made
to Restoring Australia.

We’re proud the work they have
put in to achieve these results. The
teamwork needed for this was
crucial in achieving our goals.
Without their ongoing support this
would not have been reached.
Thank you to everyone who
was involved.

Collaboration
The teamwork between the
departments involved in the Back
to School Steering Committee has
been amazing. Their efforts help
students and their parents make
bigger things happen. We hope that
next year is even better!

Officeworks Mackay (Qld 2)
Our team is proud to have been
recognised for our efforts. We have
strived to maintain a “we, not me”
attitude and have consistently
looked for the best way to achieve
the results our success is measured
on. This year we will continue by
showing we are never too busy
to do the small things, and aim to
become the best experience for a
destination store in Mackay.

Store of the
Year awards
Officeworks Lismore
(Qld 1 and Qld state winner)
The store had negative EBIT three
years ago and is now in the positive,
which is true testament to the hard
work of the team. We’ve been
able to help make bigger things
happen through participating in
new initiatives and trials such as the
mobile POS trial. A regional store
being able to achieve these results
has been great for the team. They
all work together fantastically as one
unit and aim high to continue to
improve for this financial year.
Officeworks Nowra (NSW 1)
After winning the Officeworks
Olympics for the first two years we
wanted to try and go for three
straight. “Team Awesome” were
incredibly motivated and after the
achievements and learnings of
the previous years, the team took
it upon themselves to drive this
challenge. By living the our vision
and values, utilising communication,
teamwork, enjoyment, recognition
and personal growth the success
came month after month.
