National Partnerships
Volunteering
One of the great things about Officeworks
is how keen we are about getting out and
helping our communities. We encourage
our teams do this through our national
volunteering opportunities as well as finding
local opportunities in your community
especially those that support education
and environment. To make it easier for teams to plan for
upcoming events, we have created a calendar
for national opportunities as well as links to
register. You will be able to find this on the
PDP page of Onet. The below events are two
examples of how you can volunteer but there
are more such as iTrack Mentoring with The
Smith Family and we are looking to do our first
activities with ALNF this year.
The Smith Family –
Toy and Book Appeal Restoring Australia
At Christmas more than 60 team members
rolled up their sleeves to help provide a bit of
Christmas cheer to Smith Family students. We
had team members volunteering in each state
and it is a great way to learn more about The
Smith Family and especially how they started.
This opportunity happens annually and is
always very popular so please make sure you
keep an eye out for the communications and
register early.
Restoring Australia is another great way for
team members to get out and get their hands
dirty for a day. We’ve even had one team
member say this is the greatest thing she
has done with Officeworks. Whether this is by
planting trees, doing seed collection, helping
plant seedlings or learning more about the
land we are restoring, each event is a great
way for our team to connect with this initiative.
We’ve heard you’d like to do more so we have
opened up more opportunities to get involved.
Check the volunteering calendar which will be
regularly updated when events are confirmed.
