6 Bokeh is the quality of out-of-focus or "blurry" parts of a photo rendered by a camera lens. Bokeh in photos usually makes the background smooth looking with soft round circles. It makes the subject of the picture look beautiful in front of the blurry background.

4 Lighting and shadows are very imporant to think about while you are taking pictures. Making sure the lighting is not too harsh or too dark is somthing to keep in mind, however you can also use harsh light to your advantage. When it is very bright there are often many shadows that could make interesting pictures. Keep in mind back lighting too. A lot of back lighting makes for good silhouette pictures.

5Long exposure. A long exposure allows a lot of light into the lens of the camera. This is helpful when taking pictures at night of the stars or moon. With a long exposure you will need a tripod so the picture is clear. There are tons of cool ways to use this. Such as waving sparklers to create a shape of light.
