Biking to Campus
ODU’s Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) offers low-cost
bike rentals for students. Rent bikes for a week for FREE or for
a semester for $30. For more information, visit: odu.edu/life/
sports-and-fitness/programs/outdoor-adventure-programs
Important: Always lock up your bike—it can be an easy target
for thieves.
Nuride
ODU has partnered with NuRide, an app that provides rewards
for those who use a greener method to get to campus. Those
who bike, walk, take public transportation or carpool can sign
up through NuRide for rewards points that can be redeemed
for restaurant coupons, retailer discounts, and tickets to
shows and attractions. For more information, visit: odu.edu/

Transportation and Parking Services
If you are planning on driving to campus, you should invest
in a parking permit. Although there may be parking in the
neighborhoods adjacent to campus, these spaces are often
needed for neighborhood residents and you are unlikely to
reliably find a parking spot. Parking permits can be purchased
online for a semester or year-long rate. For more information,
visit: odu.edu/life/parking-and-transportation/parking/student-
