THE LADY IN THE VAN They’re here… This is sure to delight, starring the British legend Dame Maggie Smith ased around the unexpected bond that forms between a man and a transient woman living in her yellow van on his driveway, screenwriter Alan Bennett adapted this from his own 1999 stage play and subsequent 2009 Radio 4 drama. It’s inspired by true events that took place more than 40 years ago and “Weeeee!” Miss Shepherd (Dame Maggie Smith – Harry Potter, Gosford Park), a poor lady who was difficult and eccentric. They quickly form a solid bond and together Elle is forced to face her past, Sage must tackle her future head on, and they must both deal with the mum. his is the first feature film to be directed by visual artist Corin Hardy. It has already led to him landing the role of director on The Crow reboot. The Hallow tells the story of tree surgeon Adam (Joseph Mawle – The Cold Light of Day) and his family, who move to a remote town for a new life. But forest demons take offense to his tree meddling, and they let him know it... Expect gruesome monsters, jumpshocks and lots of tension. It is however the first time that Toby, the demon from the previous films, makes an actual appearance, haunting another family with his tricks and schemes. Get ready to grip the edge of your seat…
