Inside Out
1 his fun animated Disney/Pixar comedy
T
features the vocal talents of some of
the best comedians working today,
including Amy Poehler, Bill Hader and
Mindy Kaling.
2 It’s the story of a little girl named Riley,
who is ruled by the emotions in her
head: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust
and Sadness. When Riley
moves from the Midwest to
San Francisco, her feelings go
haywire and it’s up to Joy and
the others to go on a quest to
make her happy again.
3 riter/director Pete Docter (Up)
W
was inspired to write the script after
watching his own daughter struggle with
her emotions while growing up.
4 All of the ‘emotion’ characters have
their own shape – Sadness is inspired
by a teardrop, Joy is a star and Disgust is
broccoli, as you can see on the right!

5 The tagline for the film calls it “A major
emotion picture.” We see what they did
there and we like it!
