DOWNEY JR, MICHAEL KEATON
Ever since we first
caught sight of Tom
Holland as the
Webbed Wonder in 2016’s
Captain America: Civil War,
we’ve been waiting with great
impatience for Spider-Man:
Homecoming to arrive. Well, it’s
finally here and we’re thrilled
to report that it’s everything
we hoped for and more.
For those of you who’ve
been living in a cave for the
past seven decades (and we’re
not here to judge if you have
– the housing market is
unforgiving at the moment),
the story brings to life the
adventures of arguably Stan
Lee’s greatest character:
15-year-old Peter Parker, who
is bestowed with arachnid-like
abilities after being bitten by
a genetically modified spider.
Following the epic events
of Civil War, Peter is trying
to juggle schoolwork with
superpowers, under the
watchful eye of a certain Tony
Stark (aka Iron Man). But
then Michael Keaton’s Vulture
starts causing trouble. Can
our young boy wonder save the
city and by proxy the world?
