Thirty-two years after the beloved original, and 27 years after the equally adored sequel, the quirky quartet are firing up their proton packs once more, only this time it’s Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids), Kristen Wiig (Zoolander 2), Kate McKinnon (Sisters) and Leslie Jones (Top Five) putting paid to the paranormal. With cameo appearances by the surviving members of the original team (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, not to mention the wonderful Sigourney Weaver), get ready to cross those streams. Twelve months after outfoxing the FBI, the “world’s greatest magicians” are back and they’ve got trouble on their hands. Unstable tech magnate Walter Tressler (Daniel Radcliffe) wants The Four Horsemen (as they’re known) to pull off their most impossible heist yet – and he’s not taking no for an answer. Throw Morgan Freeman’s Thaddeus Bradley (the baddie from the original) into the mix, and you’ve got yourself a magical crime caper that’s every bit as entertaining as the first one. Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco are all back, while Lizzy Caplan takes over the role of the “girl horseman” from Isla Fisher.
