things you
need to know
about…
1
All the main voice
cast from the
original are back
That includes
Holly Hunter as
Elastigirl, Craig T.
Nelson as Mr.
Incredible, Samuel
L. Jackson as
Frozone and Brad
Bird as the
hilariously pithy
Edna Mode.

Incredibles 2
It has the
same winning
ingredients as
the first movie
Mixing wit, action
and heart, The
Incredibles blew
everyone away
when it was first
released in 2004.
This sequel is
cut very much from
the same cape.

Elastigirl and
Mr. Incredible are
trading places
Bob got the best
action in movie #1,
so it’s only fair that
Helen has some
fun this time
(while hubby stays
at home with
the kids). Who’s
got the tougher
job? Hard to say.

The story starts
right where
we left it
Although it’s been
14 years since the
original, no time
has passed in
Helen and Bob’s
world. “The movie
starts 45 seconds
later,” said Hunter
at D23. “That’s
mind-blowing!”
5
There are lots
of intriguing
new characters
Bob Odenkirk is
playing Winston
Deaver, a powerful
CEO, Catherine
Keener is his
genius sister,
Evelyn, while the
legendary Isabella
Rossellini is the
Ambassador. Ooh!
Jack-Jack and the gang are back in action from 13 July
One to watch
Hannah John-Kamen
We’re excited about the Ant-Man sequel for
lots of reasons, not least the re-teaming of
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly. But we’re
also looking forward to seeing Hannah John-
Kamen as Ghost. The 28-year-old Yorkshire
actress is best know for TV’s Killjoys, but this
Marvel sequel (and a role in Ready Player One)
should see her hitting the Hollywood big time.
Don’t miss Ant-Man and the Wasp from 3 August
• Thor ’s Chris Hemsworth will take the lead in Sony’s Men in Black spin-off
in Hollywood

Brilliantly, Incredibles 2
picks up the action 45
seconds after we left it.
