cinemas, we
originally chose a picture
of Hugh Bonneville (who
reprises his role as Henry
Brown in the new film)
to feature as this issue’s
Classic Moment in Time.
But then the sad news of
Paddington creator Michael
Bond’s passing reached us
and we decided the above
image would be more fitting.
Taken on 23 November
2014, it sees the celebrated
English author posing outside
the ODEON Leicester Square
with his beloved creation. The
occasion was the premiere of
Paddington the movie, which
roared into UK cinemas the
very next week. Mr Bond, just
like your bear in this picture,
we tip our hats to you, sir.
