A native of Siberia , Russia , Dina Khismatulina is an L . L . M . graduate of Emory University School of Law . She earned her J . D . degree in 1999 , from Tomsk State University , one of the top law schools in Russia . She is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and Russia . Dina joined The Manely Firm in 2014 , and currently serves as Partner and Managing Attorney of its Atlanta and Lawrenceville offices . Dina is active in her professional community and has served as Co-President of the Gwinnett County Bar Family Law Section since 2019 , as well as haven been an active partner member with Global Atlanta , often speaking on panels and at consulate events . She has been selected as a 2020-2023 Super Lawyer and was highlighted on a national stage in Super Lawyer ' s Magazine article " Catching the American Dream ," that features her professionalism and international experiences . With over 20 years of family law experience , Dina predominantly focuses on international family law , particularly Hague Child Abduction and Retention cases , high asset divorce , and complex custodial disputes .
Judge Aten is a national judicial leader who has led , taught and served on numerous national and international legal platforms . She previously chaired the American Bar Association Judicial Division ’ s Conference with primary responsibility for international courts . She recently spent three weeks in Morocco as a part of the American judicial delegation of the International Association of Women Judges ’ Conference . Judge Aten brings over a decade of experience organizing and leading international legal conferences in a host of countries including Haiti , Belize , Egypt , Spain and Brazil among others .
