T he Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers focuses on providing networking and mentoring opportunities for young lawyer members to grow and develop in their profession . Members can enjoy educational and service opportunities that help them navigate the challenges of starting a career as an attorney . The ACYL has had an active year so far . In October , the ACYL co-hosted a CLE Breakfast event with the Litigation Section which focused on marketing and business development , inviting a panel of experienced attorneys to speak on strategies to make fruitful professional connections .
On November 1 , ACYL hosted a CLE event called “ Somebody ’ s Watching Me : Surveillance in the Face of Rapidly Accelerating AI .” John Ghose , Partner of VeraSafe , a global cybersecurity and data privacy advisory firm , spoke on legal issues surrounding the advent of AI .
ACYL will be hosting several CLE and happy hour networking events in the upcoming year . Please contact our section leaders for information about membership , event co-sponsorships or program ideas . We would love to have you join our section for all of our networking and CLE events !
