Written by Eva Mackinnon , S5 Student Study Tip : Start Early !
The most important thing you can do when studying or revising is to start early ! A good way to do it is start slowly and build it up over time- especially in the beginning when you ' re still adjusting to the level of the subject and learning new information . Studying early will also benefit you when your teachers say you have an assessment coming up in a week ' s time and will also help you with homework . There are many different techniques you can use when studying like flashcards , resources like BBC bitesize and Study Smarter . Always remember that your teachers are here to help you - that ' s their job ! They will be more than happy to go through something with you again .
Look out on your senior assembly pages for study skills that Mr . Moncrieff will post every Monday .
