The conference “building inclusion” with the engineer Andrea Flores Ruiz, was a great experience, because it showed us that having a disability or disease like her (cerebral paralysis) isn’t an obstacle to reach our dreams. Life is more difficult when we have a problem like this, and it’s awesome that a person that doesn’t have any obstacle to perform something, doesn’t realize it and with one problem or discomfort, they surrender.

Andrea showed us an extract of a movie where we watched a boy that had the same disability as Andrea. In reality, it is so difficult to live with this because people don’t pay attention and sometimes the family feels ashamed of you. Andrea also showed us photos of her over the years and she told us how she lived with her disease and how difficult it was for her.

Mainly this conference was an eye-opener to reflect and analyze what are we doing with our lives. If she can with disability, we, with more reasons also can, because we have all them parts of our body and we have all our capacities.
