Hot Chilli Honey
Ingredients:
• 340 g raw honey( preferably unpasteurised)
• 2 – 3 red chillies – thinly chopped
• 2 – 3 garlic cloves – thinly chopped
• 2 – 3 thin slices of red onion
• Fresh rosemary – finely chopped
• Fresh thyme – finely chopped
• 1 – 2 drops of Oregano essential oil
Drizzle on salads, crispy bread, pizza or use it as a dipping sauce!
Instructions: 1. In a glass jar, add a layer of honey. 2. Add the chillies, garlic, red onion, herbs and Oregano. 3. Add another layer of honey. 4. Leave enough space for fermenting. 5. Use it now or store it in the fridge for a longer infusion of flavours for up to a month.
Garden Fresh Salad Drizzle
Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 1 tsp agave syrup
• ½ tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 – 2 toothpick dips of Marjoram essential oil
• Pinch of salt & fresh black pepper
Instructions:
In a serving bowl, add all the ingredients and toss. This recipe pairs exceptionally well with Orzo Salad.
Orzo Salad
Ingredients:
• 250 g orzo pasta
• 150 g cherry tomatoes, halved
• ½ cucumber( about 150 g), diced
• ½ small red onion, finely chopped
• 60 g baby spinach or rocket, roughly chopped
• Feta or vegan alternative
Instructions: In a serving bowl, add all the ingredients and toss. Enjoy!
