Literary Libations
The Providence Public Library hosted its tenth annual Savor the Story gala, raising $ 110,000 for library programs. The summer camp-themed event also marked PPL’ s 150 th anniversary and featured dinner and cocktails at the historic building. A speaking program recognized three of the library’ s longtime supporters: Joe Wilson Jr., Jo DuBiel and PPL Trustee Angel Arrazola.— J. T.
