John“ Jack” Partridge, 1957 SAINT RAPHAEL ACADEMY John“ Jack” Partridge’ 57 has remained a proud and active supporter of Saint Raphael Academy for decades. In recognition of his lasting impact, Jack was inducted into the inaugural Saint Raphael Academy Hall of Fame in 2018 and the Pawtucket Hall of Fame in 2022. After graduating from Saints, Providence College, and Harvard Law School, Jack built a distinguished legal career as co-founder of Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP. Despite his many professional and civic accomplishments in law, civic leadership and philanthropy, Jack has never forgotten his roots and his love of Saints. He has consistently supported Saint Raphael Academy and numerous Rhode Island Institutions through advocacy and involvement and is highly respected throughout Rhode Island. Jack’ s deep ties to Saints and his lifelong dedication to education, community development, and youth enrichment continue to strengthen the school that helped shape him and the broader Pawtucket community he proudly calls home.
Brent Lang, 2000
THE WHEELER SCHOOL As executive editor of Variety, the multi-platform entertainment news brand, Brent Lang helps oversee all editorial operations and leads film and media coverage. He joined Variety in 2014 as a senior reporter and prior to his current role, went on to serve as Variety’ s executive editor for film & media and as New York bureau chief. Over his tenure, he has written about corporate mergers and bankruptcies, criminal trials and legal battles, blockbuster hits and chaotic productions, and covered film festivals such as Cannes and Sundance, and he has profiled many accomplished directors and actors, including Christopher Nolan, Mindy Kaling, Robert De Niro, Kevin Hart, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Michelle Williams, among others. In 2024, Brent was named Entertainment Journalist of the Year by the Los Angeles Press Club. He is a 2025 recipient of the Mary C. Wheeler Medal of Arts and also a member of the Wheeler Leadership Council.

Manya Glassman, 2015
MOSES BROWN SCHOOL Manya Glassman is an acclaimed filmmaker traveling the festival circuit with her short film " How I Learned to Die." The comedy-drama, recently screened at the Rhode Island Film Festival following its premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival, was written, directed, and produced by Manya with legendary director Spike Lee serving as executive producer. Manya, who holds an MFA from NYU ' s Tisch School of the Arts and a BA from Providence College, plans to develop the short into a feature film.
