In today ’ s world , social and communication skills are vitally important for young people entering the workforce . That is why Marr College is working with the SCQF Partnership to expand the range of courses it offers its pupils to ensure they have the skills needed to thrive in the future .
Marr College is committed to the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework ( SCQF ) and developing the understanding and use of the SCQF across our whole school community .
We are doing this by following the five pillars of the framework which are a Whole School Approach , Pupil Awareness , Parental Engagement , Pathway Progressions and Development of External Relationships .
In June 2024 we hosted a number of local employers for a Business Breakfast , where our SCQF Ambassadors presented information on why understanding the SCQF is so important . The video of this event is available here .
