1 ) Wolfs - George Clooney and Brad Pitt together ! An interesting premise gives lots of room for the two to play off of each other , and that saves the story when it lags ... just a pleasure to see them on the same screen again - and not sixteen years apart this time ! See it ! - on Apple TV +... 2 ) Beetlejuice Beetlejuice - Tim Burton goes back to the future , revising a favorite generation after it first appeared . The co-stars are all excellent ( especially Katherine O ' Hara ), but the main course is Michael Keaton , back in form after years away from the industry . Did you remember how little screen time he had in the first installment ? He makes up for it here - it ' s fast and it ' s fun ! See it - in theatres ... 3 ) Rebel Ridge - Aaron Pierre smolders his way through this familiar , yet entertaining 131 minutes , sort of an action hero flick , as Pierre plays an ex-Marine who uses the skills the bad guys don ' t know he has to eventually come out on top . Also starring Don Johnson as the corrupt elected official we are all familiar with . The ending is convoluted and confusing , but the ride is fun ... See it ! - on Netflix .... 4 ) The Retirement Plan - After putting little if any effort into his last dozen or so films ( made just to keep his finances afloat ), Nicolas Cage comes out of nowhere with this crime thriller that makes fun of crime thrillers - this month ' s sleeper - See it ! - now in theatres , on a streaming near you .
