Pumpkin Dog Treats Pumpkin & Peanut Butter ... two of your pup ' s favorites !
• 3 / 4 cup pumpkin puree
Ingredients :
• 1 / 2 cup peanut butter w / no sugar , salt , xylitol , or birch sugar
• 1 / 2 cup peanut butter for drizzle
• 1 / 4 cup oats
• 1 egg
• 2 cups brown rice flour
Directions :
1 ) Preheat oven to 350 F .
2 ) Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat until well combined . Dough will be crumbly but stick together in a ball .
3 ) Split dough in half and roll into a ball . Place ball between two layers of parchment paper . Flatten the ball with the palm of your hand , then roll with rolling pin to about 3 / 4 inch thick . Once flattened , use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes . Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet . Repeat until all dough is used .
4 ) Bake for 10 - 12 minutes . For a crisper treat , flip over treats and cook for an extra 6 minutes or so .
5 ) While treats are baking , heat additional peanut butter for 20 - 30 seonds in the microwave or until smooth . Drizzle over baked treats .
6 ) Let cool before serving . Keep biscuits refrigerated .
