The interior pays homage to Pawtuxet Village ’ s historic roots , particularly the burning of HMS Gaspee , an English customs schooner , on June 9 , 1772 , in Gaspee Point . As it occurred more than a year before the Boston Tea Party , many Rhode Islanders take pride that the event was truly the start of the Revolutionary War . Revolution ’ s menu changes daily but it will try to accommodate any dietary needs with advance notice , including providing vegan and gluten-free options .
